Do you treat your body like a temple or a tent?
Jimmy Buffett
Jimmy Buffett is my all-time fav singer/songwriter. I just love his music. His lyrics are both humorous and meaningful.
His song Fruitcakes struck a chord with me recently…yes, pun intended… about how I have been at times treating my body lately. He writes…
“She said you’ve got to do your fair share
Now cough up half the rent
I treat my body like a temple
You treat yours like a tent”
How are you treating your body these days?
Like the “glamping” tent pic above or like a tent that is uncared for, out of control and being blown by the wind and pummeled in the rain?
Your body is uniquely yours.
You ask a lot of it and only you can take steps to treat it better.
Today…make a commitment to nourish your body with healthy and wholesome foods.

nutrition…what you eat affects your teeth
your mouth, teeth, and gums are more than just tools for eating!
- pearly whites and pink gums are essential for chewing and swallowing, the first steps in the digestion process
- your mouth is your body’s initial point of contact with the nutrients you consume
- what you put in your mouth impacts not only your general health but also your teeth and gums
- if your nutrition is poor, the first signs often show up in your mouth!
