His song Fruitcakes struck a chord with me recently…yes, pun intended… about how I have been at times treating my body lately. He writes…

“She said you’ve got to do your fair share
Now cough up half the rent
I treat my body like a temple
You treat yours like a tent”

salad dressing 101

Many bottled and packaged salad dressing mixes contain excessive amounts of sugars, unhealthy oils, additives, fillers, and preservatives.
Making your own salad dressing is super simple, quick, budget friendly, and a much better way to go.
The key is finding the perfect ratio of oil to acids that works for you and supports your health goals. I personally like 1-1.

HEALTHY, HOMEMADE DRESSING

2 parts oil + 1 part acid + emulsifier + seasonings
